Electric Distribution Project Manager

M&S Engineering, LLC seeks qualified candidates that are highly organized, energetic, self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as a team for the exempt position of Electric Distribution Project Manager.
The position will manage the requirements of multiple new serve and added load projects by coordinating design, contractual and construction needs from inception through construction completion.
The position serves as the liaison between the customer and client that communicates requirements and agreements through required interaction using both oral and written communication methods for needs and data transfer with all resources involved to provide seamless transitions, quality customer service and data flow between all to meet all needs of both customer and client.
This position will report to the office and is not remote.
Requirements include:
Three (3) years prior experience with electric distribution project design and management.
Strong background in both overhead and underground electric distribution line design, standards of construction and design guidelines.
Must possess a High school diploma or equivalent, ability to pass background check and drug screening and possess a current Texas Driver's License with an insurable driving record.
Required Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Ability to represent self professionally in both M&S and the client's image in meetings.
Ability to stay abreast with the changing technologies, work planning, design methodologies and clients construction standard requirements.
Ability to mentor and/or train others staff members to transfer personal design knowledge to others.
Recognition of electric distribution framing and components 4kV through 35kV, to provide insight to both planners and designers.
Use of electronic design/estimation software to navigate clients' electric system to aid in job scoping and identification of potential pit falls for assistance with design.
Use of equipment for gathering of geospatial points.
Ability to take personal responsibility for the quality, accuracy and time constraints of projects to routinely meet or exceed established work volume and client quality metrics.
Possess strong skills in time management, organization and multi-tasking to effectively manage assigned projects through different requirements, design iterations and priority shifts while maintaining work product reliability and volume from inception through completion processes to ensure timely completion, accurate posting of data to clients mapping system and financial records.
Proficient with the use of a laptop computer, and related software programs including, MS Outlook, MS Excel and MS Word.
Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing with customers and other client work groups to ensure internal and external expectations are met and negotiate solutions persuading customers/co-workers/client personnel with technical/complex subjects and offer for consideration alternate views.
Proactively resolve project issues before the schedule or cost is impacted, demonstrates an understanding of project/workload drivers and makes unprompted adjustments as necessary and recognizes the need for and implements practice/process improvements Capability in functioning in a work location leadership role for coordination of work activities and internal/external settings for communication, provide design/policy interpretation, concurrence and decisions.
Ability to work for extended hours in various climate conditions indoors and outdoors and operate vehicle for travel to job sites.
Potential for overnight stays involved.
Ability to walk over and across various terrain for field investigation, site meetings and minor staking.
Demonstrates ability to work closely and effectively with co-workers and team situations Displays a consistently positive attitude, strong work ethic, and consistent punctuality Desired Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Prefer an Associate's degree with technical emphasis on electrical power delivery or Bachelor's degree.
Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of electrical distribution systems.
Knowledge of joint construction and electric utility best practices.
Prefer the ability to interpret property line boundary, topographic surveys, as-built surveys, construction staking and collection or location of geospatial points.
Ability to interpret the processes for permit acquisition involving TxDOT, City, County, State and Federal applications.
Possess strong analytical and technical problem solving skills.
Normal Work Schedule:
Monday - Thursday 10 hours per day for a 40 hour work week.
Additional hours outside the normal work week are possible.
Variations of schedule dependent on project work load and needs.
Client assistance with storm work may be possible.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
