Summary:
The Area CQA Manager position for Mustang Extreme Environmental Services (MEES) will implement, and periodically evaluate the Quality Control program to ensure organizational operations, from materials to finished projects, meet the quality, integrity, and efficiency standards set by the organization.
The ideal candidate will be able to speak and write fluently in Spanish and English.
Responsibilities and
Essential Functions:
Evaluates operations from a strategic level to ensure that projects meet quality, integrity, functionality, and other specifications and requirements.
Recruits, trains, and directly supervises QA Technicians across operational regions and divisions.
Collaborates with management and senior staff across operational regions, divisions, and roles to draft acceptable quality standards.
Implements quality standard testing and evaluation processes.
Facilitates communication among operational divisions and management.
Assesses test results and approves recommended changes.
Reviews quality control documentation such as checklists, logs, and reports for effectiveness, accuracy, and relevance.
Conducts random inspections and quality control checks.
Assist the estimation team by taking the beginning and ending inventory of materials onsite for the project as well as the square footage of the project.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements, Knowledge, and Core Competencies:
Thorough understanding of quality control standards and methodologies within the geosynthetics industry.
Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management while exhibiting a high degree of emotional intelligence.
Ability to navigate at an advanced level in a Windows environment including above average proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Ability to develop specific goals and plans in order to prioritize, organize, and accomplish required work.
Ability to efficiently communicate with business partners, supervisors/managers, peers, or subordinates in verbal or written form.

This position includes a mix of indoor and outdoor activities in all weather conditions, consistent with a standard project management position.
Includes travel to clients' project sites and local and out of state offices of the company and its customers, as necessary.
Operating specialized tools and equipment including Wedge Welder, Extrusion Gun, Air testing equipment, vacuum box testing, misc.
hand and power tools and generators.
