Summary:
We are seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Marriage & Family Counselor to join our team.
As a LPC or LMFT, you will provide mental health counseling and support to individuals, couples, and families.
You will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate through their challenges and achieve emotional well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychotherapy sessions with clients to address their mental health concerns - Provide crisis intervention and support during times of emotional distress - Develop and implement treatment plans based on client needs and goals - Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver effective counseling services - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for clients - Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to determine appropriate treatment approaches - Assist clients in developing coping strategies and healthy behaviors - Provide addiction counseling for individuals struggling with substance abuse issues - Collect and maintain accurate medical documentation and client records - Stay updated on current research and best practices in the field of mental health counseling Requirements:
- Must hold a valid license as a LPC or LMFT in the state of Texas - Master's degree in Counseling - Experience in providing mental health counseling services - Knowledge of ICD-10 diagnostic codes and their application in clinical practice - Strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities and interventions - Ability to conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations using standardized assessment tools - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients - Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines We offer competitive compensation packages, including benefits such as healthcare coverage, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities.
