Account Representative
Overview:
Account Representative will be responsible for new account development as well as broadening and strengthening existing account relationships.

Technical Skills:
Relevant business experience is a plus (drilling, oil, and gas production)
Product knowledge in the oil and gas industry
Strong customer service skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Presentation skills
Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Interpersonal and time management skills.
Strong sales skills.
Experience and Education:
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Business or Engineering is preferred
Work Experience Requirements: one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Requirements:
This position may require some domestic travel
Observes safety regulations, wears required safety equipment, encourages safe working practices, corrects obvious hazards immediately or reports them to Management.
Adheres to all HSE requirements.
Working hours are as necessary
Primary
Responsibilities:
Acts as primary point-of-contact for client
Participates in conferences, trade shows and other industry events
Prepares bids and proposals and delivers technical presentations
Assists in strategy development
Proactively finds new ways to build the clients business and grow accounts
Masters and maintains vast knowledge of the business, competition, and latest industry news and trends
Monitors agency / client budgets and billing processes for accuracy and timeliness
Improves customer perception with emphasis and focus on customer service
Attains and exceeds sales goals through increased market share

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
