Finance Analyst (Midland)

We currently have a great opportunity for a Financial Analyst. This position will have an active role in the budgeting, reporting, analysis, and forecasting for multiple large construction projects.

Responsibilities:
Create, setup, and maintain overall cost accounting/tracking structure for large construction projects
Complete financial variance analysis for projects assigned
Analyze project purchases orders and Invoices for coding errors and correct as required
Interact with vendors, transactional analysts, and project teams to proactively reduce coding errors
Assist with creating and updating project forecasts
Create and monitor various metrics for projects assigned
Develop, maintain, and distribute as-hoc reports and financial models as required
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent Business Experience required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in reporting and financial analysis
Demonstrated problem-solver
Excellent Communication skills both verbal and written
Demonstrated initiative on previous efforts
Strong follow through skills
Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills
Ability to work well with others

Desired:
Experience in construction industry doing cost accounting a significant plus
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel including pivot tables
Accounting/GAAP knowledge
CMA Certification
Previous Large ERP experience (PS preferable)

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
