Completions Engineer
Job Description
Rig Source Recruiting has an immediate opening in Midland, Texas for a Completions Engineer.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinate with Geologist, Reservoir Engineers, and Production Engineers to design and optimize new well completion procedures
Create completion AFE's
Monitor Frac Jobs from office with trips to field operations as needed
Assist in managing fresh and recycled water for completions
Work with Field Consultants to plan and execute completions
Track completion metrics
Monitor and Implement Industry Best Practices and Technology
Track capital spending to insure capital spending goals are met.
Assist with re-completions as needed
Required Skills
The qualified candidate will have a minimum of a B.S. degree in Engineering with at least 3-5 years of industry experience. A working knowledge of Fracturing, Coiled Tubing, and Wireline Operations, along with Horizontal and Multiple stage completion experience is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
