Equipment Operator
The selected candidate will have 5 to 10 years of experience in operating construction equipment (primarily a backhoe) and directing oilfield remediation field activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
o Transport and operate/maintain backhoe
o Provide oversight to roustabouts during field activities
o Assist in the development and execution of tailgate safety meetings and JSAs as it relates to operating a backhoe and performing remediation work
o Complete and maintain daily paperwork
o Perform all duties in a safe, professional, courteous, and conscientious manner
o Performing other duties and special projects as directed
Qualifications
o High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
o 5 to 10 years of experience operating heavy equipment
o Experienced performing remediation of oilfield spills
o Capable of working independently in remote locations as well as in a team
o Be able to read, write, and understand English and follow written and/or verbal instruction
o Must possess and maintain a valid commercial driver license (CDL)
o Ability to lift 40
