Master Scheduler/Customer Sales Specialist

Raven Industries, Engineered Films Division located in Mildand, TX, is currently seeking a full-time a Scheduler/Customer Service Specialist. Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
This position is unique and will wear many hats. The primary responsibilities will include managing the scheduling system while providng customer sales and support.
Essential Funtions:
o Point of contact for customers.
o May release orders to production to ensure efficient and timely delivery to customer. Familiar with lead times and shipping standards.
o Analyze impacts to changes in schedule.
o Communicates with team members regarding timely delivery of products
o Assist with expediting materials and solving issues with material shortages.
o May lead or support department improvement initiatives.
o May perform front office administrative dutes.
Education/
Experience:
o Bachelor's degree in business or technical field
o Minimum of 5 years scheduling and customer sales experience
Knowledge - skills - abilities:
o Strong manufacturing background with MRP II knowledge preferred.
o Customer service and sales aptitude
o Both written and verbal communication skills essential
o Strong math skills
o Ability to multitask and creatively tackle unforseen issues as these arise
o Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work with minimal supervision
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
