AFS Senior Field Tech 2
Job Description Arcadis is currently seeking an Environmental Field Technician to join our Midland, Texas office. This position will assist in a portfolio of sites with active operations and maintenance of groundwater remediation systems, groundwater monitoring and sampling and subcontractor oversight. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, organized, and will have good communication skills.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Remediation system operation, maintenance, and monitoring
Oversee subcontractors to perform operation, maintenance/repair of systems, preventative maintenance, and monitoring
Perform landscaping duties
Construction oversight during excavation, construction, demolition
Soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling per EPA Methods
Site Inspections
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
0-2 years operations and maintenance experience
Experience troubleshooting electrical controls for treatment system
Valid Driver's License (Clean)
Ability to work Independently
Ability to read, understand and complete scopes of work with limited supervision
Ability to effectively use a computer and programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Good communication skills
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to lift over 50 lbs
